Welcome – Your holiday dream is about to begin!
We welcome you to the »Chalet Sonnenhang« at the lake of Hopfen in Bavaria near the castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau of king Ludwig II.
The housing area was built in 1997 and is situated at the south shore of the lake of Hopfen with a beautiful sight on the lake and panorama of the Alps.
There are 40 beautiful apartments with all comfort.
Starting from your holiday flat at the »Chalet Sonnenhang« there are various day trips by car (like Munich, Augsburg, Garmisch, Innsbruck) or hiking tours.
Our Apartments
There are 40 holiday flats in the housing area »Chalet Sonnenhang« between 40 and 80 m² for 2 to 8 persons.
All of them are equipped with:
- a modern kitchen with dishwasher, kitchenstore, fridge, coffee machine and toaster
- a modern bathroom
- Sat-TV and radio
- balcony or terrace with beautiful sight on the lake and mountains or to the hillside (cheaper)
Furthermore there is playground and an underground car park.
The public bath is a 2 minute walk away from us.

The surrounding
The well known castles "Neuschwanstein" and "Hohenschwangau" are only 8 km away from us.
There a a lot of mountains to be hiked or visited by mountain railway. From there you get an impressive sight of the Alp-panorama and the Allgäu.
A lot of cycle tracks and hiking trails ensure you a varied holiday.
